Baahubali gets inspired by NTR's film

Rajamouli's magnum opus Bahubali is perhaps the most talked about film in Tollywood in recent times. Any news about the film will grab attention and here comes the most surprising news about the film.

If reports from a leading newspaper to be believed, the film is believed to be inspired by yesteryears film 'Marmayogi' which casts NTR and MGR in Telugu and Tamil respectively. The story of the film is about the fight of two princes in a kingdom for their birth right to take a position of power.

Bahubali story is: A king's mistress usurps him casts him adrift in a river. The two princes of the kingdom are denied their birthright. The deposed king wanders the country in the guise of a sage. The young prince leads a popular rebellion against the queen and restores the kingdom to his father.

In the film, the two brothers do not know that they are siblings and the truth comes out only in the end. According to sources, Rana and Prabhas are playing the two brothers.

Although SS Rajamouli would definitely offer clarity on these rumors yet 'Marmayogi' is a different film from any standards and SS Rajamouli's quality of making makes it further special. While the audiences are eagerly waiting for the Prabhas and Rana Daggubati-starrer, the first part of which will be released next year.

Baahubali casts Prabhas, Anushka and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles while Ramya Krishna, Nasser and Sathya Raj will be seen in prominent roles.

The film produced by Prasad Devineni and Sobhu Yarlagadda, has cinematography by Senthil and music by MM Keeravani. Bahubali is a highest budget film in Tollywood with 100 crore being spent on the project.
